Rancho Cucamonga Library Services is conducting the second round of STEM Education: Robotics Workshop. Today 23 children embarked on a journey to incorporate science, technology, engineering and mathematic concepts into the building and programming of LEGO Robots. This project was made possible by an the Institute of Museum and Library Services grant issued by the California State Library and a generous donation from the Rancho Cucuamonga Public Library Foundation.

Day 3: LEGO NXT-Chassis



This is the most intense day of the workshop as we switch gears from using LEGO WeDo kits that are colorful, bright and intuitive to a more complex robotics kit.  

Children and teen volunteers had to pay close attention
                                  It was challenging...
                                                            and at times frustrating!  
By the end of today's session the children persevered by working together as a team!



We have accomplished a lot in the last 3 days but there is still more to do
